The Daily Doodles

Hello everyone!

First off, business time:  Recommend Me for the Secret Comics Directory!  I wasn’t listed in it for the entirety of last week and it was the worst week in my life.  My parents died, my siblings got eated by a buffalo, and I stubbed my toe and my toe is ouchie.  THE ONLY THING THAT CAN MAKE MY TOE FEEL BETTER IS IF YOU RECOMMEND ME.

It is also honourable in my culture to Like Me on Facebook.  It brings deep shame to me and my ancestors if you do not!! 

I’ve been making a concerted effort to follow different writing blogs here on Tumblr, so that I can get to know the community better.  There’s a lot of great stuff out there, and I’ve been having a good time reading it all.

It’s caused a slight bump in my readers, which brings the standard curiosity and questions about The Daily Doodles! 

If you really wanna know more and just ain’t making polite small talk, I would READ HERE.  It’s about me, why I started the Daily Doodles, and even has a picture of me being stunningly handsome.

Feel free to write in and ask anything your heart and soul desires, or even if ya just wanna say “heylo”.  I am a very pleasant boy.

8. Ok, a real fact: I have 1 older brother, and two younger sisters.  My brother is a much better artist than I but he’s a nerd and doesn’t post any comics despite me telling him to do so.  The older of the younger sisters is a lawyer and the youngest is an architect and new mommy!

7. My sisters have Tumblrs, and here they is: workdateknit.tumblr.com, and YAYnosleep.tumblr.com.  They are both funny and silly gooses.  “Workdateknit” is about my sister’s attempts to find a good job, knitting, and a boytoy to make babies with.  “YAYnosleep” is about being a new mommy and various adventures, and the site is supposed to have a nice drawing by me of my sister holding a baby, blueprints, and a laptop BUT GUESS WHAT I HAVEN’T DONE IT YET EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

3. My friends I’ve made via Tumblr have quickly grown into some of my bestest friends.  But I didn’t even have friends till late in college, so that isn’t that much of an achievement.

You nice folks got The Daily Doodles listed in the Comics Directory last week, and I’d love to stay there.  It happened so quickly, I really appreciate it… AND the nice messages I get from lots of ya.  I have no friends and low self esteem and need the constant validation of my value as a human being, and the nice messages are all I got left for me now.

EDITOR’S NOTE: I was out of town Sunday and Monday, and I apologize for the lack of Doodles.  I’ll make it up to you!  Somehow… someway.
