The Daily Doodles |
My name is David Michael Chandler, and everyday I will post a Daily Doodle with a story attached to it. Everything you see here has been written, drawn, and coloured all on my lonesome. I hope you enjoy them, or die trying. Please E-mail anytime at thedailydoodles@gmail.com |

Young Wesley Simmons had a new theory, after a vision came to him suddenly during nap time— That no one else in the world is human, and that he was the only ‘real’ person in the world.
As a boy who fancied himself a future scientist, he decided he had to test this hypothesis. So, at his little sister’s birthday party, he drugged everyone’s fruit punch, chopped off their heads, and planted the severed heads on poles.
If he wasn’t the only real person and reality wasn’t an illusion, then there would be repercussions… consequences. Killing them should matter; he should feel… something.
But… he was right. Nothing happened. No punishment came, and he felt not even a hint of remorse.
Wesley finally figured it all out:
He is all alone in this reality, and none of this matters.
It never did, and never will.
