Jarrod the Planet Leaper; Leader of Men!
Takes lightyear long leaps to return home again.

Exiled for millenia, Jarrod waited for the planets to align
Ancient Prophecy foretold that this would be the sign.
Their pet long-limbed Babkinns could finally make the leap
Until the planets aligned, the distance was too steep.

So they leap and they hop, millions of miles every day
Until they are back in the great Milky Way.
When they had angered their God, exile was the tax…
But finally God has matured and learned to relax.

No one remembers what Jarrod’s people did wrong
But they’ll never forget Jarrod as they sing a great song:
“O’ great Leaper of Planets, We’ll always love You”
“We don’t know why God was pissed, but what can ya do?”

Jarrod was so popular, He was elected New God that day.
But He’s just happy His people are home… and forever they’ll stay.
