She finds herself surrounded by books, as far as the eye can see
An ocean of literature, filled with possibility.
Finishing a book can be sad, but a new one is right there
Distracting from life’s problems, giving her a reason to care.Reality can be pushed away, with the pages filled with text
As she absorbs the written word, trying to guess what’s next.
She’s not sure if she can read them all before the day she’ll die,
But she’s sure at the very least, that she’ll absolutely try.Posted 2/20/2013
