The Daily Doodles |
My name is David Michael Chandler, and everyday I will post a Daily Doodle with a story attached to it. Everything you see here has been written, drawn, and coloured all on my lonesome. I hope you enjoy them, or die trying. Please E-mail anytime at thedailydoodles@gmail.com |

The experiment is a success— the first ever spacecraft capable of traveling at the speed of light blasts off, leaving a rainbow streak along the path of its trajectory that lights up the snowy night sky.
Every colour of the spectrum reflects onto the snowflakes as they softly fall in wet clumps, adding the beautiful finishing touch to a momentous triumph of technology and human ingenuity… a moment that changes the course of history for forever.
And all Theodore Wilkins can do, watching from his bedroom window, is barely stifle a yawn.
What should be fantastical, he now treats as the status quo.
The sheer jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring, breath-taking act of living, of simply being ALIVE— let alone during an age of such amazing progress and human achievement— means nothing to him. He has no appreciation for how astounding it all is.
He has lost his sense of wonder for life.
